What is Arable Farming?

Arable farming is a kind of farming in which landowners utilize optimally. In Arable crop farming crops are grown in a mix cop pattern and animals are also kept in the farm. This creates a symbiosis between the crop and the farm animals. Animals get their fodder from the wastage of weeding and harvesting as well as plants get their manure from the animal waste produce in the farm. This helps both to fulfil their respective needs. 

According to United nation’s report (2013) almost 30 percent land out of total cultivated area is cultivated using arable farming technique. USA is pioneer in the world in terms of Arable farming followed by India.
